The Active sky XP sales pitch looks good, but will it actually deliver these things? Looking for an honest opinion from current users. I want to see real cumulonimbus clouds that top out in the 30's and 40's. And the next thing that was a no go was the lack of thunderstorms and high altitude weather in general. Xenviro is not an option for me as i only fly in VR, so how is active sky XP in comparison? The things I hated about xp weather were that the weather changed instantly, you couldn't see an approaching weather system and fly into it. Im thinking about getting xplane going again but I wont bother if the weather is still as it was 2 years ago. Lately I've been playing around with msfs 2020 but Im really missing the flight dynamics and system fidelity of xplane and p3d. I havent fired up XP in a couple of years now, I really liked the sim but I ended up going back to p3d due to the lack of realistic weather.
